OK, so I set out with my Trusty Nikon, to capture the world around me … Well at least around the surrounding areas !

It’s great to get out into the open and luckily (so far) the weather has been good to us, so we’ve managed to get out and about a few times this month and while lagging behind, trying to get some good images, I think I’ve done OK.

I know they are far from a professional standard, but would like honest thoughts of what you think of my photos and any ideas I could use on improving them – All comments and thoughts welcome.

All photos were taken in January 2012 …

This first set is from our 6 mile wander along the Leeds / Liverpool canal from Bingley, heading out towards Keighley on a misty morning …

And this next set is from Roundhay Park in Leeds, where I decided to convert my photos to Black And White … I love the details you get from these photos – Probably pretty boring to most, but I like them
